On October 11, 2018, as part of the EU Coding Week, which is organized by Meet and Code, the National Library of Ukraine for Children held a "QR-Coding Day". The event was implemented by the "Charitable Fund for the Development of the National Library of Ukraine for Children" as part of the Meet and Code initiative with the support of the GURT Resource Center in cooperation with the organizations TechSoup Europe and Haus des Stiftens gGmbH and financed by SAP (System Analysis and Program Development).
The event was attended by children from boarding schools and rehabilitation centers in Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv regions and the city of Lviv, as well as students from Kyiv schools.
The day of QR-coding in the Internet center gave children pleasant surprises and surprises. The children watched with interest the presentation about the history and use of QR codes in everyday life, publishing, and libraries. Thanks to the QR-quiz, we got acquainted with the work of modern Ukrainian writers, whose works illuminate the world of computer adventures.
