We provide assistance
- in promoting the legitimate interests of the National Library of Ukraine for Children in the field of charitable activities;
- in the reconstruction, modernization, and development of the National Library of Ukraine for Children;
- in the preservation, formation, and use of the library collection;
- acquisition of books, periodicals, and audiovisual documents to replenish the library collection;
- implementation of information technologies, acquisition of computer and multimedia equipment and software;
- reconstruction, capital, and current repairs of the National Library of Ukraine for Children;
- in supporting and promoting the development of gifted children and children with special needs (development of grant propositions, competitions, and financing of children's participation in competitions and exhibitions at local, national, and international levels);
- paying for services for the full functioning of libraries;
- carrying out activities aimed at the spiritual development of children, popularization, and expansion of access to the achievements of Ukrainian and world literature, and development of children's creativity.
We assist in
- implementation of programs and projects to support and develop children's reading in cooperation with program organizers and direct participation in them;
- practical implementation of international, state, and local programs and grants aimed at library development (we provide assistance and directly participate in their implementation);
- cultural and educational activities. Organization and holding of cultural and artistic events, promotions, exhibitions, and festivals;
- exchange of experience, cooperation, and study of practical experience;
- development of publishing and information infrastructure, assistance in publishing periodicals, and scientific, methodological, and bibliographic materials of the library.
We implement
- own charitable programs in the field of librarianship.
We exchange
- experience and cooperate with charitable and public organizations, centers, libraries, and other institutions in Ukraine and abroad, and develop international relations in the field of librarianship.
We cooperate with
- the mass media regarding the popularization of children's libraries and reading and dissemination of information about the Foundation's activities.
We organize and conduct
- professional development events: round tables, lectures, seminars, debates, hearings, etc.
